At a cooking station, combine the Dried Ginger with Sugarcane and Vanilla to prepare the Extra Fizzy Root Beer. Returning to the red barrel and adding both the fizzy drink and Crackling Candies triggers an reaction that clears the roots and restores the river flow.

Following The Forgotten and Upgrading the Royal Watering Can

After the water rises, exit the mine to spot the dark apparition known as The Forgotten escaping through a portal near the skull cave. Follow the entity through the portal to retrieve the fallen Orb of Nurturing from the ground before consulting Merlin back in the valley. Merlin instructs you to craft a Miracle Growth Elixir, which requires gathering 10 Vitalys Crystals from the mines, 10 Rich Soil from harvesting crops, and 1,000 Dreamlight. Applying this elixir from your inventory instantly enhances the Royal Watering Can with magical vitality.

Planting and Tending the Orb of Nurturing

With the upgraded tool prepared, head to the Pillar of Nurturing situated in the southern region of the Sunlit Plateau. Dig a hole directly in front of the pillar using your shovel and plant the grey orb inside. Water the planted orb immediately with your enhanced watering can to begin the growth period. Maintaining the orb over two to three days until it matures restores power to the pillar and allows you to finish the mission by speaking with Scar once more.
